RP and Coating

Nickel-chromium plating of RP-ABS parts requires several sequential steps consisting of chemical reduction and electroplating processing methodology. The project involves development of a coating facility, production of test samples by RP and coating of the same.

The project funded by DRDO has become a National Facility and currently progress is underway on projects related to the department of space.

The RP methodology is being exploited further to support healthcare for societal applications using image processing, reconstruction and production of reconstructed parts jointly with Applied Cogniton Systems
